I truly believe that Trump won't stop fighting and won't let us down.
You should lower your expectations. He is only a man.
I give him credit for what he did accomplish, but he is the shittiest leader that I have ever seen.
he is the shittiest leader that I have ever seen.
Why do you think this?
Great question!
Here is what a real leader does, this is just basic warfare:
1) A leader gathers up an army. He usually has to work hard to convince a large enough group of people to follow him and it requires not just hard work but various talents including looking like a leader, charisma, etc.
Trump has 60% to 70% of the american population already dedicated 100% to him. All he did was mirror what those of us that follow him want to hear.
This is the only thing he is good at.
2) A leader must work with his troops and strategieze to build defensive positions and defensive organizational structures.
Do we see Trump doing any of this ON ANY LEVEL, even the most insignificant level?
No. What does he do? He goes on Fox and wastes time.
3) A leader must work with his troops (us) and strategize to build offensive positions and offensive organizational structures.
He financed his own offence the first time around, the next battles are much much much much bigger than him. Even if he sold everything he doesn't have the cash.
Is Trump talking to us about this in any way shape or form? No. He does a few pep rallies here and there and tells us verbal pablum that we heard in 2016. He is no longer talking to us, he is now talking AT US thinking we will just follow him blindiy.
He has become a parody on the offensive front, Marjorie Taylor Greene alone is outclassing him in the sheer amount of offensive noise she makes, and that isn't saying much.
4) But, most importantly, a leader must articulate a vision, paint a picture of the future and describe how we get there together.
In order to do this, a leader must actually have a clue about a whole lot of subjects including history, philosophy, psychology and on and on. A person, especially of Trumps age and experience, should have this down pat, because every single man on this board can articulate all of the above for our people. Not everyone will get it right, but there are A LOT OF SMART PEOPLE HERE. A LOT OF EXPERIENCED PEOPLE HERE.
Has Trump done any of this in any way shape or form? No.
Why?
Because Trump is basically illiterate. Just look at the uncomfortable talks he gives when people liek MTG and others visit him and do a photop.
CONCLUSION: Trump is NOT a leader. What he is a HIGH HIGH HIGH HIGH caliber sales producer. He is a salesman of a caliber that we have not seen in a long long time. As well, he is a fighter to the end. He fights and he fights and I admire that. He is the only president that looked the same coming out as when he got in.
But, Trump has no leadership skills. He does know what needs to be done to run a country, that is just common knowledge for anyone that has run a business. He knows what he needs to say to tell us we want to hear. He fight and fight and fights and we all love that, we all respect that.
But the fucking guy has 80 million people completely and totally devoted to him and he has never taken a moment to speak to them. To discuss offense, defense and articulate a vision and a path forward.
What Trump is just a lucky break for us. He told us waht we wanted to hear, what we needed to hear and we put the label of leader on him. We want him as leader but he isn't one. What he is, is our awakening, the initial spark that lit the path forward because now we know everything that needs to be done to fix the country.
He accomplished a great deal, maybe it's too much to expect all of the above from one man.
That is my take on it.
Feel free to disagree I would be happy to hear contra points.
I can’t imagine a good leader whose own supporters’ best defense of his failure was that there was nothing he could do. Everyone was against him! He was helpless and that’s why he couldn’t fulfill his promises!
Out of one side of their mouth they say he DID get the job done but out of the other side say he was helpless. Which is it? Helplessness doesn’t sound like a description of someone who got shit done.
What would a good leader have done differently?
Not cave in to evil on Covid hysteria, for one. Not roll over for Fauci. Not allow an election to be stolen with four years to prepare for it. Dismantle the institutions that obstructed justice. Not merely TALK about and promise draining the swamp, but actually do something about it. Not let the swamp get way way worse on his watch. Not sit idly as governors destroyed the constitutional rights of their citizens. Not bragged about low black unemployment while doing nothing to stop blacks from burning down cities and churches. Not fast track dangerous vaccines.
Not allow criminals who spied on American citizens and lies for FISA warrants to walk away free. Not fail to make any meaningful change in FOUR YEARS within the FBI, CIA and NSA (among others) who continue to victimize American citizens after literally running on a platform to drain the swamp.
Not allow Epstein to be killed or whisked away while in custody of fucking retards instead of treating him like the information asset he truly was.
I can list (and have) HUNDREDS more.
His toothless immigration policy sucked and millions of illegals were never dealt with.
I mean his massive, repeated failures have been laid out, hundreds of times and people are just refusing to see it.
He stopped fighting on jan 6 and let all his supporters in Washington dc down when he didn't mass pardon all of them to protect them from the ridiculous charges against them.
Also pardoning Julian Assange. He needed to do that.. free press is Paramount to a functioning democracy. . Without sunlight on the cracks, there can be no legitimate checks and balances.
