Not that it's any sort of proof, but a highly infective virus with minor but distinctive symptoms that mutates into a highly lethal systematic disease when the vaccine for it is used would be a hell of a bioweapon.
The disease weakens countries economically, then when it becomes a big enough issue that emergency vaccines are developed, it starts killing people off when the government is least able to handle the situation.
Kind of like how certain weapons or munitions are designed to guarantee severe wounding and maiming as opposed to simply being as instantly lethal as possible.
Patriot, from what we are learning, it appears to be a Bio Weapon. Appears to be targeting Chromosome 8 on the DNA strand. Which would indicate it to be deliberate and not by accident.
