I disagree. Nobody has faced mass firings for not jabbing as is proposed. Nobody has been turned away from a grocery store for not getting jabbed.
THAT is where the talk ends. Not before. People don't want to risk it all if they don't have to. You are just impatient, as am I.
Except the line in the sand is like the goalposts of a Q enthusiast’s prediction, it keeps getting moved. Sorry I don’t believe people when the last 20 or 30 times there was a line in the sand that the Democrats better not cross, they crossed it with absolutely no resistance whatsoever. That’s not on you, just people in general.
Again, not talking about you personally, you’re awesome, but people in general who repeatedly talk crap and ended up crying wolf. We all know how that story turned out. It’s funny how it’s such a simple fairytale, a simple fable for children, and adults haven’t figured out that it still applies. People who say the same thing over and over and over again without ever coming through - this is what happens.
Thanks for being respectful in your reply, it's refreshing.
I just want to reiterate that goal posts moving were all political things that didn't affect us too harshly.
For Christians, we've been told for years and years, ever since Sunday school, that as the antichrist emerges, a choice will come.
We will not be able to buy or sell or earn a wage without the mark of the beast. We will be persecuted and killed for refusing.
That moment is now upon us, prophesied 2000 years ago. My goal post never changed. Christians KNOW it will get worse and worse. The persecution will get more and more severe.
The time to act for Christians is when we are shunned from civilization if we refuse the mark of the beast.
I’m sorry, not buying it. Millions, tens of millions, of Christians allowed their children to be forcibly masked in school. They simply allowed it. Do you remember any stories about millions of Christians sending their kids to school and refusing to mask them? I sure as hell don’t.
Those exact same people who victimize their own children are someday going to magically have the courage to fight back? No. Again, you seem awesome, I like you, you’re smart and you sound like a really good person. But someone who says something and then continuously backs down? I don’t believe them.
It’s like a smoker who says “I’m going to quit next week.” And then later “I’m going to quit next month.” Or then says “I’m going to quit when we go on vacation.” Until they quit, I don’t believe them.
I don’t want to attack the people who continuously claim that eventually they’re going to be pushed too far and respond. I line up ideologically with them, just like I line up ideologically, despite big disagreements on some issues, with most people here, we have the same values we have the same worldview, most of us share the same faith. But all I’ve seen are those exact same people giving ground repeatedly. Why would I believe them? Would you believe someone who told you something, repeatedly, and never did it?
