Agree with your overall assessment. However, once the fraud is proven, what then? I don't like this kicking the can down the road bc I suspect part of it is to get things like digital identity implemented, an the it will be like. "On well , too bad, it's too late to do anything about it."

They care more about him and his reputation than they do about the republic. Honestly, it’s more important for them to make excuses for his repeated and catastrophic failures than it is to be honest about the situation he played a huge part in putting us in.
They literally invented a fantasy game where they could write off repeated failure after failure after failure as part of some kind of “4 D chess.”
