DAT is by far and away the largest freight load board here in the states. I just got a call from my dispatcher that NOBODY can login and the site is down. This is a VERY big problem if things continues. I don't know if this is a slight hickup or a DNS style attack. I'll keep you posted. Seriously though, may want to start stocking up.

There's lots of load boards and ways to book freight. I wouldn't panic just yet. When there's lots of money at stake, problems seem to be resolved quickly.

You're right, we pivoted to 123loadboard but our experience with them is most of the loads are already covered and they just don't take them off the board and we end up spinning our wheels.

Yeah that sucks. I'm in the bulk trucking world but we have the same difficulties with the few load boards that I personally use. Dispatchers don't always keep their boards updated, but that is a minor inconvenience compared to when my internet goes down - That my friend is a complete nightmare. Sometimes I miss the 90s... Phone calls and fax machines.... Ahh, those were the days.

Thanks, I thought is was just my problem. Truckstop.com is working, albeit rather slow. Overloaded with the DAT users I suppose.

I am going to go out on a limb and say the trucks will still be delivering food and supplies tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day. Call me crazy, but I have a feeling those loads won’t just sit there.

Never said it was the end of the world. I wasn’t sure if it was a cyber attack similar to the pipeline one.
