Asking for any medical information violates the HIPPA laws of the US. They know this. It will take an act of congress to change that.
They say it doesn’t go against hippa, they claim even an employer or business can now ask for your vax card, it’s not private information. In April or May the governor said the vaxxed no longer had to wear masks but it was up to businesses to ask for proof or they could keep the current “masks for all” policies in place.
Business groups said it wasn’t their job and they weren’t putting their employees in a situation that could potentially turn violent. The masks were a huge fight and this was too much and businesses opted to keep masks for everyone.
They would’ve faced fines, revoking of business and/or liquor license if an unvaxxed person wasn’t wearing a mask. Then you have the people who forgot their card flipping out, people pretending they forgot their card etc. it would’ve been a fiasco.
That’s why on June 30th when the mask rule was finally lifted for the second time for the vaxxed with the “honor system” nobody knew what to do, most were still masked up for a day or two and within a week nobody was wearing one, now you see an occasional person wearing one but that’s about it.

They have them on file at my GF’s work already and it’s a private business and a few friends had to provide a copy to their employer.
They say a lot of things that aren’t true and also allow or do a lot of things that are illegal/unconstitutional.
