IMHO, these are not "hysterical" pieces of sensationalist yellow journalism. All of this is coldly calculated to elicit an hysterical response from the READER. The motivation is to stir up enmity and fear towards "peaceful protesters" (my bad, wrong group mentioned here. The vast majority of patriots were NOT involved in burning, looting, mayhem. The few that did likely had allegiance to fairly bad instigators). It is also to continue to communicate the penalties to be visited upon ANYONE who might truly peacefully and patriotically stand in response against the REAL program of terrorism going on in these United States.
