FPF was founded by John Perry Barlow and Assange. After Omidyar took over FPF and cut off Assange's funding. .
Secure Drop was originally callled "dead drop" and it was Aaron Swartz's baby. When Swartz "committed suicide," Dead drop went to Kevin Poulsen (i think that's his name) who was on the board of FPF and also "committed suicide." Then John Perry Barlow "died." Now, "dead drop" is "secure drop" and in Omidyar's hands.
