Interesting point. There is no other place to go. You are correct, the United States no longer is a culture or an ideology. It's a corporate feudalistic prison. We are serfs. Fascist corporate rulers are quickly tyrannizing the population and few are pushing back because we've been guilted into a falsehood that we're racist. This distracts us from responding to the attacks we've been receiving.
I remember a time, decades ago -- under Reagan, or it might have been under the first Bush -- when the federal government tried to punish and break up Microsoft for its monopolistic practices. After more than a year of legal wrangling, the government failed. Microsoft won. Bill Gates defeated them. I remember thinking at the time, "This doesn't bode well for the future, when a corporation can defeat the federal government of the United States of America." And ... here we are.
Recall it was because Bill started making political contributions.
