One time I was doing BJJ and I was maybe a 42 year old white belt at the time.
I was sparring with a brown belt and roughing him up a little. Mostly this was because he was fat and lazy and partly because I'd been training 4 years at that point so really more like a purple belt, just wasn't getting promoted because the coach was a dickhead.
I was in good shape, 220lbs, not ripped by any means but without any kind of gut, still am. We were probably close to the same size but he's pretty fat.
Then he said something like, "Well, I'm older than you, you're young and spry, wait until you get to be my age".
I said, "kid, you're actually 2 years younger than me". #watchepeopledieinside
I actually get a lot of that, younger guys trying to impart their "wisdom" to me. It's pretty funny, I mostly play along.
