The opinion the court gave was based on the sponsors of the bill “surgically targeting” black voter habits.
My question is
In presenting this opinion, the court is implying that the sponsors only requested** this information about black voters. Wouldn’t this information in fact be part of the process of gathering that same data about all demographics. Or at least all opposition demographics?
Does anyone have info on the scope of data requested by the sponsors?
