The funniest part is it's entirely plausible this is coincidental. The premise is plausible. Creepy shadowy organisation and arkanciding anyone in danger of revealing too much while they socially engineer the masses.

You could say the plans being leaked via a comic book is the fantastical part but you could also point to V for Vendetta for some strange parallels to the beer bug response releasing the UK's latent fascism.
