Interesting. Makes sense. The internet has almost become useless with all the knowledge that has been hidden or changed.
Think about all those free software updates and apps that they come out with to 'fix' security holes or make you think you're safer or better off by using.
And all that free anti-viral software that they scare you into thinking you need.
And VPNs that you don't really know if they erase your trail because how can you ever check?
It's all a big game.
They designed it to be complicated in order to obscure the simpler means you could have to protect yourself and see and choose what passes through your ports.
Great point! Fear sells. What do they call it when you create the problem and then offer the solution?
Cash cow.
Kind of like with doctors who push pharmaceuticals that introduce new diseases that lead them to create more drugs to fix the new problem.
