The Navy isn't about protection of our country. The country is run by corporations now. Rather, the Navy is the consumer of the military industrial complex. Taxpayers represent the source of revenue for the Navy. Therefore, indoctrination is just an extension of our educational system, which is to say, a continuation of indoctrination of our young denizens.

Another bullshit article or rather opinion piece by ??. A veteran, this "journalist" makes a claim the Navy has been ineffective because they had deployments of 341 days. Indicating this amount of time should have had some "war" action; this writer went on to further degrade the Navy and its readiness based on taking a DAY to train. IF this person had any real time with the Navy, he would know Training Days are common. Especially in light of possible situations in a community, either military or civilian. Knowledge is what keeps people informed and safe. One thing about the military is you have little choice over who is sleeping/eating/shitting next to you. Take it another step; you have no choice of who will cover your ass, you must depend on the chain of command and hope like hell no one gives a damn what color skin you have, the person assigned to cover your ass does so because it is their JOB.

Patriot, I did not question the Navies Readiness. And I agree this was the journalists own opinion. But we are reading news stories and not Police Reports. So we do need to remember this. Sensationalism sells, just like few people bought the Newspaper when all the headline stated the Titanic struck a Iceberg and all appear to be safe, but when the real news broke, the Body Counts mentioned the newspapers were selling like Hot Cakes.

But we know there are those in the Military that are puppets for the Military Industrial Complex. And Gildry claim about cherry picking a few quotes ? And this CRT will cause Division and bring down Moral , which appears to be the intent.
