You "invest" your IRA and 401K funds in Mutual Funds - they buy stock with your money. But, consider this - who VOTES the shares of the stock - and why are all the companies going woke? Well, the Mutual Funds management votes the stock that they bought with your money. They are essentially instructing the company's management what to do.
Same thing for the Pension Funds - they buy the stock with your money and they get to vote the shares the way they wish.
Our funds - retirement, pension and investment are being used against us. When we give the Mutual Funds our money to invest - we become the "beneficial owners" of the stock, while the Mutual Funds actually physically own - are the actual shareholders of the stock in the companies.
The same thing is happening with homes in neighborhoods - as the article above points out, homes are being purchased by BlackRock on a large scale. Rather than homeowners residing in the homes - folks become renters.
