I've heard that before, and the thought is terrifying. If the cycle repeats, that's not God 'winning'. What you are describing is a mass sacrifice event perpetrated on humanity again and again forever. The sound you are hearing and interpreting as a good sign would really be the dinner bell for demons. Winning would be to actually LEAVE the arrangement, and for nobody to have to go through such pain again. A loving God would take all in an instant to heaven, not satiate demons and their proclivities. If I am not meant to fight to save the ones who deserve it, why the fuck am I here, watching it all unfold? The world is getting stranger and stranger, but that doesn't excuse inaction. The world doesn't make sense anymore, but that doesn't excuse inaction. If I am meant to act on what I believe is righteous, than I will do just that. If what I do has no meaning, I choose to do it for posterity. There is no universe where I choose to stand idly by. There isn't a God that would approve.
