Antiviral assay using VeroE6 cells showed that NAC caused 54.3% inhibition in SARS-CoV-2 replication.
This is promising.
NAC is used already in C19 treatment - in these rare cases where hospitals really treat patients instead of just waiting until they die. NAC works against the hypercoagulation that kills patients with blood clotting in the lungs. And NAC is an antioxidant, preventing the damage to the inner cells of the blood vessels that leads to the hypercoagulation.

Sadly the fda recently reclassified it since it was effective, last year I bought some on Amazon. Now it’s prescription only...
Patriot, been aware of NAC a for a while now. And I remember one could buy it without a prescription. I noticed how fast Amazon got rid of it when I posted the thread they were going to.
NAC is still OTC in Europe and available on Amazon DE:

eclassified it since it was effective, last year I bought some on Amazon. Now it’s prescription only...
just checked Amazon - I can buy all I want...... interesting , I thought the same bout NAC and re-classification
