The Joint Chiefs have been opportunizing their position as keepers of political stability during a period in which leftists are being brought to justice for their crimes, to push the very same leftist agenda that led to the corruption of the political situation in the first place. They cannot be allowed to maintain that their association with a legally elected presidential administration justifies their holding on to power after overseeing and approving an entirely illegal election, then latch onto the coat tails of this sham administration currently in place.
