5G IS 5th generation. The 5g phones are 5th generation GSM They have nothing to do with 5 ghz.

5 ghz is used all around you in your wifi and many other electronic and radio connections.

The whole 5g thing is not about 5 gigahertz. They aren't tinfoil hatting over your modem. They think the new phone system is going to turn everyone into robots. This is from a basic misunderstanding of how everything works.
