Had we listened to conventional advice during the pandemic and continued life as normal to boost herd immunity, we may not be in the situation we are today: a damaged economy, increased unemployment, and hundreds of thousands of deaths.
But last year, when doctors like Scott Atlas, among many others, suggested the idea of building natural immunity, they were mocked and criticized by the activist media.
As a result, most Americans ended up listening to the “experts” propped up by the Left and MSM, including Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, both of whom seem to be vaccine enthusiasts.
Now that the pandemic is over, Dr. Marty Makary made waves in the news this week for suggesting that people “ignore the CDC” in discussing natural immunity from the coronavirus during an interview on The Vince Coglianese Show on Tuesday.
This time, his advice, opposing the mainstream narrative, was not viciously attacked by the media.
Makary, who is a professor at Johns Hopkins Medical School, said ignoring the possibility of reaching natural immunity is “one of the biggest failures of our current medical leadership,” the Daily Caller reported.
According to Sara Carter, an independent journalist, Makary stated, “Natural immunity works.” Not only does it work but it could also be “lifelong immunity.”
“Please, ignore the CDC guidance,” the doctor said. “Live a normal life, unless you are unvaccinated and did not have the infection, in which case you need to be careful.”
