I have considered this, but it doesn't seem to be the case. The evidence seems to point to something new being out there in the realm of viral infections. I had never heard of anyone losing their sense of smell, especially without nasal/sinus issues involved. An inability to smell has become incredibly common. For people who have had serious problems attributed to Covid, having a cold/flu type response that puts you in the hospital with difficulties breathing also seems to be something new or at least new at the frequency it's happening at (more so than before but not as much as media hype initially made it seem like).
The reaction by governments, the need for lock downs, and dangerous injections were certainly not needed. They're also pretending there are no solutions when vitamin D and medical substances I can't spell work great.
I allegedly tested positive for Covid and so did 3 people I assumed I gave it to. My dad, myself, and my brother (got it from his kids, not me) experienced very little, generally symptoms milder than a cold. We all lost the ability to smell with a clear and clean nose. My mom had strange pains and such and generally had something like a bad flu. The other person I gave it to was like, "I'm dying. This is horrible." She survived and was not hospitalized. Later I found out it was her second time having it.
I've lost my sense of smell every time I've ever had a head cold. It's pretty normal if you have sinus issues but can easily be a symptom of anything that affects the sinus.
And the test isn't even for covid. It's for remnants of coronavirus family antibodies. That could mean anything. There are lots of coronavirus. The common cold is one. The cdc even tells you this on their website.
As for deaths. I don't know a single person that has died in "the biggest pandemic since the Spanish flu."
Things associated with COVID-19 are exaggerated. Someone got shot 3 times and died of COVID-19. That's how they racked up the numbers. The lock downs were intentional destruction done by evil people. There still seems to be something new out there, because I lost my sense of smell and so did my brother. I had never heard of such a thing before, and it happens with absolutely no sinus issues of any kind. There also seems to be a virus that affects people drastically differently from doing barely anything such as with me and my brother to putting people in the hospital where they need a ventilator. I did know someone whose death was attributed to COVID-19 and my mom knew someone. Both of them were old people, and I have no idea what kind of health problems they had.
Losing the sense of smell isn't new.
