Poisoning wells and eating babies? Yes. Spreading diseases? No.
There's simply no way to do that reliably. We're all covered in every disease known to man.
And the stories of infected cadavers being catapulted during sieges?
Or the british during ww2 experimenting with diseases? They had an entire island dedicated to experimenting with infecting sheep.
Or have you ever seen measles spread among children or perhaps even had it yourself?

Right, chickenpox was the one I was thinking of. Parents used to deliberately get their children together with infected children because the disease is more severe in adults. Chickenpox parties.
I don't know if they still do these today.
