With all the proxies and Deep State actors, your scenario would have unleashed an endless stream of attacks against Trump from just about anywhere. It would only embolden giving strength to their Pandemic narrative. Just look at the storm Trump created when mentioning HCQ as a cure. This was a microcosm of what would occur if Trump took your advice. There is no other viable choice. Political suicide is not an option. The entire Plandemic was to start the Great financial Reset. It is to replace the old fractional reserve banking system (FRBS) that is spiraling out of control. The fFRBS is the world's great Ponzi scheme. All Ponzi schemes accelerate to the point of losing control of it and collapsing. This is what the Great financial Reset is all about -- to replace the old system with a new greater system based on a digital AI one-world currency. The mechanism is essentially the same except removing denominations from circulation will be through the carbon tax instead of the income tax. This is why 'climate change' is being pushed so hard.
