Been about two decades in FRONT LINE EMS. And i can count on less than one hand the "shiners" i have seen. Oh yeah, someone can say that it just did not "fill out yet' as the fall just happened or was very recent. Nah, i can even tell you of likely the THOUSANDS i have seen in the ER and them shiners are RARE.

The demographic of this particular crowd, the "elites" has a massively higher percentage, i could surmise. Then, it would be interdasting for someone who has the leisure of time, to note WHO and WHEN and if it is INCREASING. As my inquiries back in the service were: "Who What When Where Why How How Many and What the Hell?" (My boss didnt like that.)

Is there now a preponderance considering the times that we are in and IMHO an uptick in worldly power, status, wealth, as well as advances that facilitate certain 'maladies"? Restraint is being cast off in these darker days. Some would say oh there has been worse. But i still posit that when bargaining with the adversary the price only goes UP. And it appears that a lot of soul selling is going on. "Sign here." "Use the 'red' ink."

Do we even need to go into again the whole aspect of COUNTENANCE?? I have addressed that in the past. It speaks for itself.

Great point. It hadn't crossed my mind on how often I see shiners. I'm not in any medical field, but still, I may have seen 2-3 people in public with a black eye my entire life. Outstanding observation.

Brother, I was in LE and most of the shiners I witnessed came from fights. Rarely heard the door or fall story. Again this reminds me of their need for Symbolism. Thank you for sharing this.

Heh, here's another thought. With all the nuances of cosmetology (or whatever) we know that the black eye should be able to be concealed. Airbrushed or whatever. I could be wrong, but as picture perfect as people can be made to look.

It's like they are either: 1. strutting their stuff showing they "belong". 2. required to display marks of an humiliation ritual. 3. showing evidence of the worst that is possible which this post covers. 4. some or all of the above.

You are correct right side up. In high school I got into a fight and I covered my shiner with concealer. This was back in the 90's! These people are showing their status. I on the other hand still have my soul and my self respect. This is a cult we're witnessing.

Their Secret Societies are not secret because of what they do. They do it to keep them secret. Like the initiation rites for the Skull & Bones membership, just much more damning and with legal consequences (death penalty) if the blackmail material ever gets used.

Maybe the black eye is the sign to fellow members: I have renewed the pledge and the blackmail material our club can use against me, so you can trust me again.

this is how this works: famous people get pictures taken of them all the time anything notable gets tagged, so searching for "celebs with black eyes" will bring up 6 gorrillion matches

likewise searching for "celebs with nose bleeds" or whatever, will also bring up x number of hits

if you had someone watching you 24/7, then they would probably record the only moment in your life that you picked your nose or whatever.

Given these are people who have an image to uphold, wouldn't they try and minimize it (cover it) so they didn't have a bad photo out there?

How many celebs/leaders/etc can you find with right black eyes? How many people do you know who have ever had a black eye?

I would assume a hidden society would need a way to convey someone is in the club and a trusted member without having a list . A photograph of someone with a nasty black eye in a public place sure seems like a way to do it.

Nobody around me, coworkers, neighbors, friends and family, in 50 years, ever had a black eye and you say among celebs and politicians it is "normal". I think you are full of shit!

I didn't say it was normal, I said it was recorded. You are just not aware of the minutiae of your friends lives,

some people also bruise easily, some don't. I smacked my eye on the kitchen cupboard this morning but I probably won't get a black eye from it. My wife would get bruised from practically everything she bumped into, so does her granddaughter.
