Didn’t you ever wonder why no cell phone cases come with a cover for the phone? Wouldn’t people like to have a privacy feature or something to protect the lens when the phone is dropped?

I put those on my laptops, phones, etc... I use the stickers for the front cams on phones... on newer iphones, there's like 2-3 cameras in the front... so watch out for those.

I'm a paranoid weirdo who tapes or post it notes over the cameras on EVERY electronic device. My daughter bought an iPhone for me for Mothers Day and she cringed when I covered up the camera lenses. I'm pretty much a shut in so it's not like they'd get anything exciting from me. But it's the principle!

Amen Patriot, it is the principal. I do not even waste money on a smart phone, and the phone i have stays in a faraday bag unless I have to use it. because the radiation levels are p[reportedly higher then they claim.

It's part of a "face unlock" feature, that keeps the buttons and display of the phone locked until it sees a face looking at it. Burns quite a bit of battery. You can easily disable it.

Depends on the phone. I have a Motorola phone with the feature, and I turned it off. It's under the "Security" menu.
