It's true funding should be something that does not come from taxes, but comes from volunteer support well kind of like GoFundMe if you want research funding, you have to look for people who are willing to volunteer to pay for it. I mean, it's so simple, and I think it's bullshit that none of this is happening now, but now that fuici can no longer spend money on gain of research, what are they going to do now?
Great points, if you are interested in researching something then find others who are interested and have them pay for it. If they are really that interested they will pay for it themselves not make a career out bilking the public out of what little money they earn.
