When the full on Grand Solar Minimum is in effect you will be living in the sweet spot in America.
How long will that be, do they have reliable predictions?
Most scientists that aren't in bed with the IPCC believe we are just entering the Grand Solar Minimum and that it should last till 2050. Reliable? More so than the IPCC but we are talking about that big nuclear reactor in the sky so who know's for sure. Looking back over the past 25 soolar cycles we can get an idea about how long it will last.
Maunder Minimum: 70 years long
Dalton Minimum: 40 years long
Sporer Minimum: 90 years long
The new Eddy Minimum: ?
Here's a good article to familiarize yourself. https://principia-scientific.com/norwegian-scientist-global-cooling-beginning-due-low-solar-activity/
Thank you. This is in one of the arenas that gets my least attention with everything else on my plate, I'll check out these links. Kinda feel like the earth is going to hell before we see any of this, maybe that's why I'm so slack on my attention of it.
