There is no sort of viral or bacterial immunity that completely prevents a virus from entering your body. Adaptive immunity is when the infection or illness is significantly inhibited by an adaptive immune response from a previous exposure. That’s what the vaccine confers. He says its going to prevent the symptomatic illness, i.e. covid. And it will greatly reduce the infectiiousness. Unless ADE occurs. But it will cause an ADE promoting virus to evolve.
