Vaccines are widely available here in the U.S., but we still have a long way to go to make sure everyone is fully vaccinated. Please get your shot if you haven’t done so already – I’ve been fully vaccinated and 100% of our officer population (VP and higher) have committed to getting their shots. Getting vaccinated is a huge part of us being able to move forward.
Even if you are vaccinated, please continue to do all you can to stay safe at work and follow all the protocols we have, including wearing a mask at all times while you’re at the airport. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has eased guidance for fully vaccinated people, which is very welcome news! However, the federal mask mandate for transportation – including at airports, on planes, and on bus and rail systems – remains in place until Sept. 13, regardless of vaccination status. If there are any changes to this policy, we’ll let you know. But for now, please continue to mask up!
