Yep, I keep saying this: Trump had the power to literally take this country back. All he had to say was "My fellow Americans, we are facing an unprecedented situation, which corruption is the driving force for. I call upon all patriots to take up arms and join me in the fight to dislodge the corrupt elements from our homeland." Boom, he has an army of 70 million+ heavily armed, dedicated people who would literally die on an order from Trump. He commanded that level of power- no other president in recent history really commanded that kind of power. When he invited his supporters on 1/6, he should've said "Come armed- remember, this is the USA, and the 2nd Amendment was written specifically for a scenario such as this. The Founding Fathers had the wisdom and foresight, and I am asking you to fight with me for what they believed in." We'd have peace and order restored in a matter of months. Government reformed in a year or so. Elections secured. Corruption- literally killed. But he chose not to wield that power, leaving him a fucking *disgrace* of a President. Trump polarized the nation, split it into two camps, but never gave "his" camp the marching orders.
