I think we're going to start seeing Catholics declare a distinction between themselves and the RCC.

Spot on. The RCC took over paganism with all its beautiful Cathedrals and idols. You can see why Israel was drawn to it against God's commandments. Imagine the Parthenon in a time when most men were living in tiny homes. It must have been awe inspiring.

I was led to believe that John Paul II was wonderful until I started reading what he had to say about Americans freedoms and independence.
