But seriously, it probably was reported this way but a lot of stuff that was reported during that time frame wasn’t real anyway. It’s not like we had video cameras or streamed this thing live for real people to see it. They invented testimony whole cloth and reported it to the masses.

A good point. I was of the mind that this was faked just before it was posted on Facebook, but it might have actually been faked way back when.
