If she had a special prosecutor appointment, she would not be trying to get a court to hear actual evidence. She would just go empanel a grand jury and start issuing subpoenas and warrants. She would be bringing court cases not as plaintiffs, but as a special prosecutor. She would also be federally funded, and not be privately funded with donations.

I stand corrected. Makes sense. i thought it may have been undisclosed but i never thought through that she couldn't be a plaintiff at same time.
