On April 27, 2021, Abbott told WBAP radio that he will sign the legislation if it reaches his desk.

Abbott said, “Once the Senate passes it out, the House and Senate will convene and work out any differences and get it to my desk. And I’ll be signing it.”

Currently, 20 states do not require residents to acquire a permit before carrying a concealed handgun for self-defense: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming. (NOTE: Tennessee’s constitutional carry law goes into effect July 1, 2021.)

I know this is sounds great, but I still marvel at how we got here in the first place. We already have the 2nd Amendment and the part that always stands to me is "Shall not be infringed". The word "shall'' means with God-like authority. It is incontrovertible. It's absolute. If you don't believe me, look it up in law dictionary. You 'Shall' find it there.

So, what I see here is unlawful statutory laws that are rectifying already unlawful gun control laws. If you ever get a chance look up 'Law Positive' versus 'Common Law' and you'll be absolutely floored. By the way, all law schools teach 'Positive Law' (also 'Law Positive'). Our Bill of Rights is rooted in Common Law. Positive Law are judicial rulings (opinions) based on statutory laws and public policy. It often sets legal precedent that has an effect on society for many years. Consider the many times 2nd Amendment issues have come before the Court. It's never ending. Positive Law acts as shovels of dirt being thrown over the body of the Bill of Rights. The origin of this is another story, but let's just say it is anti-Nature and anti-God.

I just can't shake the part about "Shall not be infringed". There's no debate here, period.

It's what it's all about. We are the news and it's are job to get the information out as most don't have the time to read all that's out there. We come here to see what others have seen. Be safe all for what's coming is not going to be nice

You are right on point and most don't know. No law repugnant of the Constitution is valid. It's null and void. 1803 SCOTUS.

Well said and absolutely correct. The rhetorical question is -- Why are the same Constitutional issues reoccurring in the courts? How clear is the Second Amendment to comprehend? Alright, we have already been dragged through the courts on the -- "If you remove this comma, it could mean this other thing". No, the Court ruled it is as plainly written, an Individual Right. Does any one really question that the Bill of Rights recognizes Individual Rights? Then Why would the 2nd Amendment suddenly go off topic and reference the rights of the government in having a well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state? All of a sudden it's talking about the rights of the government? Government is not an Individual Right, and runs contrary to why the Bill of Rights was created. It is about Individual Rights!

I even suspect, these same evil forces are attempting to rewrite grammar and its punctuation in order to get a Judge to reinterpret the Second Amendment. The 2nd Amendment is the ONLY safeguard that has prevented us from falling into an eternal hell of tyranny. We would be in the one world totalitarian government already if it wasn't for the 2nd Amendment. I'll go as far as to say the entire world hangs from the existence of the Second Amendment. If it falls, the United States will fall, and in turn, every nation in the world will fall.

I'm with you 100% Like I've said most don't know. I don't have much time left and feel bad for my grandkids. As they will never know how it was like when you knew the cop that walked the beet.
