Welcome to the club, fren :-)...There's probably no one here who hasn't done that. What I appreciated about you was that you heard the guy out and apologized - that takes character.

I don't like the name-calling, and I'm sorry you experienced that. We've lost good Patriots on Poal bc of that, and it makes me sad - We need all hands on deck.
I'm thick skinned and could care less about the name calling. However, I believe the country to be in good hands other.... than the Politicians and their Narrative. This is Theater designed to distract from something else.
IMO, the name-calling fosters artificial division and often gets used when the person has nothing to say other than name-calling.
I hope you are right about the theater and do see indications that there's a lot going on behind the scenes - if nothing else, just the vehement way the left is pushing extremist ideology. When I see a headline, sometimes I don't know whether it's real or a Babylon Bee piece - Things have gotten so far out there.
It's possible that all these election groups are part of the theater too - the majority of the experts are in bed with the other side.
