Whatever the theory or the reality (and i am not gonna jump on that in this comment), it is not even as much that as it is the next convenient agenda to really crank up. Science or no science, the fear is gonna get pushed, as COVIDiocy slides off the radar.

People are about sick and tired of the Wuhan/Chy-na virus, so now it is time to bring in the next act. The act being simply exploiting another narrative for fear and to increase control.

Even Faux Chi is trying to edge in on another agenda (gun control). He has about run the well dry on all the "misspeaking" and missteps about the virus (or whatever it was).

So yep it is time to bring in the private jet and high living crowd to take the virtue signal competition to the next level while [they] lecture us to forego beef and fossil fuels. In the meantime, [they] will not give up a thing. Too important, you know, just ask [them].
