Perhaps 20 years ago, it was, but not today. ESPECIALLY not with the other crap going down.

I've never been a cop, but I've been a Soldier. You have to wonder how this isn't first and foremost in every cop's mind. Including shift command.

Think about this: black cop shoots black kid with a knife. Does it make national headlines? Why are departments sending white cops into black areas knowing every action is scrutinized?

Nope, this whole thing can be avoided by investigating the crime after it happens than stopping it in the first place.
