First, we are watching a movie, remember? Second, Chauvin was a sacrifice for a little temporary peace. Third, watch in the coming days, the sacrifice will not be enough. It never is. They still have an agenda. Forth, if blacks were in a position of power, would they treat others with violence? I believe they would. We are getting a glimpse of that now in South Africa where the tables are completely turned where the slums consist of poor white dutch (homeless camps). Affirmative action is real. On a personal note: Chauvin said, "if you can talk you can breath" When Floyd stopped talking and stopped breathing, Chauvin should have gotten off. That was my red line, and most likely everyone else. The Defense did the best they could, but all one had to do was watch a video and logically conclude that what the PO did was not reasonable. The sad and unspoken part no one said out loud was that it happens to more whites than blacks. I am not one who comes into contact with PO often, but when I have it has never been good, not once. I was stopped for making a right turn in the right turn lane, but since the light had been taken down for maintenance it was illegal. Stupid right? PO was a real jerk, cost me $232.00. Second time, going 45 in a 40. Cost me $250.00. The third time, the two POs did their best to get a rise out of me at a late night stop, both were real jerks. They wanted so bad to haul me in, but I was on my way to the hospital to see a childhood friend who was dying. So, I held my tongue and let them have their fun. They finally let me go after an hour of screaming, laughing and badgering me for no other reason except pure harassment. Buckle up buttercup, soon we will be living in a real hell. Real soon.
