If the National Guard actually does their job and squashes the inevitable riot, I’m going to give credit to whoever sent them in. This should’ve been done by Trump a number of times.
His blind supporters who can never criticize him told me that he could not crush the riots because of “election optics.” How did that work out? While white people were pulled out of their cars and beaten to death people were talking about how it’s “part of a plan to expose them.” God forgive the endless bullshit. Endless endless bullshit. Trump wanted to send in the NG but the mayors and governors refused to allow them to be sent. I won’t make excuses for something Trump did or didn’t do when maybe he should’ve and I certainly won’t crucify him for something he tried to do but didn’t receive the needed cooperation. I also believe the governor of Minnesota finally worked with Trump and allowed some NG be sent in when Trump was president.
