The problem is that, for every MK Ultra or Gulf of Tonkin, there are thousands of dead ends that are provably and laughably ridiculous. Sometimes a little more discernment and better judgment would be advisable. It’s the political mirror image of what liberals do when they believe everything CNN tells them. We have people who believe every shitty theory that affirms their worldview. Our guys are on the right side of the fight, they are against the cabal, they are against the deep state, they are against massive pedophilia rings - but are just as gullible as normies for anyone who says what *they want to hear*. I mean for heaven’s sake, *I’m* considered a nutjob by the general population but come across on Poal and old Voat like a buttoned up normie. When *this guy* is the “normal” one, we have a community that needs to show a little more judgment and restraint before swallowing everything it has been fed. If “conspiracy people” were a little more selective, a little more careful, and were more aware of the fact that there are people who are just batshit crazy saying what we want to hear, there wouldn’t be such a credibility problem. It doesn’t help that half of the people who are awake fantasize that they are Fox Mulder. We really do, say, and believe some truly embarrassing things
