Personally I'm more about locking up crazies in their own little environments. It's our mistake for letting them act in society and then being surprised when they do fucked up things
No value to society. He should have been put down, if nothing else to the others that think about doing the same thing.

It's that kind of thinking that has gotten the country where it is. What are going to do? Rehab him for 30 years so he gets out at retirement age? If there is actual consequences for actions, society is fixed.
