Asserting that Dr. Anthony Fauci continues to make claims on TV that are not “matched by the science of his own institute,” U.S. Sen. Rand Paul said on Fox Business Live that Fauci “should be voluntarily removed” for such fear-mongering.
Paul said it’s time for Fauci to not only make it clear about how well the COVID-19 vaccines work, but for him to stop with the fear-mongering, quarantine recommendations and telling people they can’t go to restaurants or gather inside.
If he doesn’t stop with the fear-mongering or simply be voluntarily removed from TV interviews, Fauci ultimately may discourage people from getting the vaccine, Paul said. In March, Paul went head to head with Fauci in a Senate hearing on the coronavirus, in which Paul said Fauci was continuing to wear a mask after he was vaccinated just for the theatrics of it.
