At leastin the mRNA vaccines, the spike protein is synthesized by the platelet that is then attacked by the antibodies. Platelet destruction causes clots. Which cause strokes and fun shit like that. It can be caused by different things including autoimmune disease and infections like covid . It will probably pass when she builds her platelets back up in another week or so but she NEEDS to see a doctor and get a CBC and her platelet count checked. Its possible she could have developed a more severe autoimmune condition. DO NOT let her get that second shot because the reaction could be worse. The immunity you get from a single shot is high enough anyway. See an immunologist if the GP wont give you a ‘dipensation’ from getting the second jab, or what ever you need to get now that we are a communist country 3 weeks of thrombocytopenia — she needs a doctor.
