It depends on your personal objectives. We are never going back to either a national or international gold standard. It is hard money and would help keep governments honest. We are more likely moving into an era of central bank digital currencies tied to smart phone apps. This would give them the power to control, coerce and steal value with less hassle than they currently have. It will be an extension of the techno fascist state or beast system that is being built up now. It can be tied to social credit, vaccine status etc
