March 16th, 2021. On a call with Fox News:

Trump said: “I would recommend [the vaccine]. And I would recommend it to a lot of people that don’t want to get it, and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly.”

“And we have our freedoms and we have to live by that, and I agree with that also,” Trump added. “It’s a great vaccine and it’s a safe vaccine.”

"It’s a great vaccine and it’s a safe vaccine.”

He very pointedly said that he WAS NOT GETTING the VACCINE. And why would anyone who'd HAD the disease need a vaccine? and Suggested that HCQ was the best preventative treatment (thats a vaccine, right?)

Its Biden and co that are trying to force everyone to get it, despite the hideous facts that are being learned about them. They own it.

He also pointedly told everyone to get the vaccine. What the OP stated is correct. His opposing positions regarding vaccines causes a cognitive dissonance that is adding to the confusion. None of this is random, there is an agenda for what he's saying, it's not very clear right now what that is.
