There is a huge competition for undersea cable. China is very big in this competition. Not good. The democrats allowed the sale of Global Crossing to the Chinese and they were off to the races.
Thanks for posting...what an interesting article. This is something I didn't know and I, too, have to question where exactly will this lead. Long ago there was trust that large companies were working in the consumer's interest but today we are so much more aware of the fact that there are many nefarious reasons that these huge companies have the ability to control our privacy and our freedoms, especially in the communications department. The underground cables just indicate worldwide control as they already have control of the continents.
All of the cable traffic is between North America and foreign countries.
In-country traffic doesn't rely on ocean cables.
Who stands to lose? Globalists.
Oh good... what could go wrong when tech oligopolies monopolise the physical infrastructure of the internet.
Mey fellow American poalars.
Please feel very oy vey and silly about responding. Oh goodie, goodie goodie gee, goodie gee goodie goodie.
Please do not do anything else.
Especially do not stand up.
And stop noticing all the oy veys flooding the information streams.
