Christian doctor and author of “Angels in the ER”, Dr. Robert D. Lesslie, was murdered in his home on Wednesday afternoon along with his wife and 2 grandchildren (+1 person of unknown relation) by former NFL player Phillip Adams.

NFL Pro Phillip Adams shot the family dead at the doctor’s home.

He was an opioid addict and the doctor cut off his supply.

The fact that he killed himself suggests to me that maybe CTE and/or some sort of other mental health issue is a possible factor.

Or he could just be a thug who robbed and murdered them, and was too cowardly to give himself up because he didn't want to face the consequences of his actions. Equally plausible.
