Very few scrap yards take them anymore.

Less hassle for the yards. The police reports and new regulations are addressing the issue of copper theft, and cat theft pretty well here in AZ.

Big family business that's why I know.

Missouri. Wide open. I work at one in Illinois. Right across the river. A lot of them go out of the state to get them or bring them from out of the state.
