Tens of thousands of small modern machine shops across the country have the ability to replicate any carburetor technology from the 1930s.
Many owners of those shops are entrepreneurs fascinated with engineering challenges and creative advancement of technology in just about any field.
I can’t rationalize a plausible scenario where this technology has been suppressed, unexplored, undeveloped for 90 years, in spite of info and ‘examples’ (Garlits) being available to the public.
The brilliant, creative passion inspired by the competitive automotive segment alone would ensure exploitation. Smokey would have been all over this.
If one thinks about it, outside of communication, there is no 'real' technological advancement in our lives. Despite what people believe, we haven't actually advanced technologically. When the wheel becomes a relic of history as the mule and horse has for transportation, then I'll change my mind. The so-called technology we are seeing is all communication technology. Sounds great doesn't it? Truth be told -- is that it BENEFITS the POLICE STATE far more than it ever did for us individually. I don't even use a Smart phone or a cell phone. It is a commodity that's simply NOT needed.
Look at automobiles. They STILL get the same gas mileage as cars did back in the 1930s. One thing that has changed has been our ability to work on our own cars. It's gotten to be very 'complicated', if you know what I mean. Everything is controlled by a computer. It's another communication device. 90-95% of the issues with cars today are the computers and sensors. The computers are spy devices. You must have special communication devices to talk to the computers on-board a car to work on it. If I had a 1966 Mustang or a 1956 Willy's Jeep, all I need to fix it is some wrenches and screwdrivers. We are living in an insane world when I have to take my car into the shop because the sensor on the gas cap has become defective. These worthless computerized appliances are a POS. These computerized dishwashers don't clean the dishes. I'm forced to wash the dishes (Not rinsing) before loading them in the dishwasher. If I have to do that, WTF? I might as well do it the old fashion way using a sink of soapy water and a dish towel. The same can be said of computerized clothes dryers that don't dry the clothes and need frequent repair to the computer-sensor system. The old mechanical washer/dryers are far better than the POS computerized ones. I don't need a sensor to tell me my clothes are dry. I can simply open the door and touch the clothes. The 'moisture' sensors don't come close to what I can do visually and by touch. It's insane idiocy and the technology is not advancing our lives.
So where are we REALLY with advancements in technology? I think we are devolving toward an Idiocracy. When I see kids with smart phones waiting for the school bus unaware they're standing in the street, I am utterly shocked by this. Cattle have more sense than these kids with smart phones. What ever happened to the much touted future home that is independently powered and off-the-grid? Well, I'll TELL YOU where its at. It NOT going to happen because ALL of the technology we are seeing is for CONTROLLING us and SPYING on us. This includes keeping us dependent on the electrical/gas power grid. The only technology that we are going to see is technology for controlling us.
Next thing we'll see, and its well on its way is 'vehicle-free' streets, in which only bicycles and walking is permitted. These 'green zones' block off increasingly large areas, in which motorized traffic is diverted and must detour several blocks to get to their final destination. Like I said, we the people, are moving technologically more toward being tagged herd animals than advancing toward liberty and individual freedom.
If one thinks about it, outside of communication, there is no 'real' technological advancement in our lives.
Indeed. If one thinks about it, modern day rockets are no further advanced than those of the 1920s.
For that matter, the jet fighters of the 1920s were actually more reliable than the computer controlled jet fighters in our current Air Force inventory.
And it’s not just limited to aircraft. Hip replacement technology and pace-maker technology have not advanced one iota since the first half of the 20th century.
You are an astute observer of technology to realize these truths.
"For that matter, the jet fighters of the 1920s were actually more reliable than the computer controlled jet fighters in our current Air Force inventory."
I'm not convinced that the jet engine existed in the 1920s, but I can tell you first hand that fighter pilots, who flew the newer optic fiber system planes preferred the wire cable system F-14s over the later versions.
Yes, I have seen this quixotic 'play' out before when I was much younger, but I am much older now and have seen too many times new technology simply disappear forever from the public forum. It's always the same story.
If you are wondering about this, read up on the Invention Secrecy Act, then become familiar with 35 U.S.C. 181; the so-called Secrecy of Certain Inventions and Withholding of Patent.
It's mind blowing how inventions are disappeared (confiscated) and then moth-balled in some unknown warehouse vault. It's all to prevent upheaval from the existing (controlled) infrastructure as it relates to national security. In other words, crony capitalists (oil and finance) along with the masters of the universe ARE the existing infrastructure. Whether we ever see it in our life time, these Acts and Codes need to be overhauled or even rescinded.
We need to clean house at the U.S. Patent office where ongoing corruption occurs and the Rothschild banking cartel has gained complete control of it. I am not exaggerating this either.
Did you know in 1971, energy conversion systems were subject to review and possible restriction if they offered conversion efficiencies “in excess of 70-80%.” How much has changed from that time to the present? Automobiles today still get approximately the same MPG as in the 1930s. The only technology that has drastically changed are the computers; so-called "Smart" technology, which is really a euphemism for a Spy Device.
If a dry vapor provides a 100 percent burn rate, why do fuel injection systems still make use of the same aerosol spray concept of liquid petro as back in the 1920s?
Why does the U.S. Patent office use a provision allowing them to slap a "national security" gag order on a patent application? Many energy technologies have disappeared through this means.
There were an accumulation of 5,579 invention secrecy orders in effect at the end of fiscal year 2015. In that year alone there were 95 new secrecy orders imposed. Only 36 prior orders have ever been rescinded.
What is the total number today?
If you really believe we already have the best technology available, you live in a world where the oxen drawn cart is incontrovertibly the best driver-less technology that can found.
