Patriot, is aw a few shows back then, I do not recall this one. But then TV was not great and few channels, so we were out more.
I was a star trek fan back when I used to have a TV. I basically kind of lived for the weekly episodes.
So, in the episode of Coms Vs Yangs the Coms are communist Asian, descendants of the Chinese and other Asian nations. The Yangs are the descendants of American Yankees. The Coms have basically taken over while the Yangs are living primitive lives something like early Native Americans. The Yangs have descended into a state of barely being able to survive as they face extinction at the hands of the Coms. They still have the Declaration of Independence but can't really read it properly though they have a very old copy.

Thank you for the link, Patriot, I definitely missed that episode. Amazing how it follows a similar pattern we see today.
